Handhufushi

Hi All, We are going back to Handufushi this April 12th for 2 weeks, yes you read right we are returning, we visited last March for 2 weeks and it was bliss, yes the island is still very much in its ';natural'; state, but the weather, accomodation,food and very importantly the staff were out of this world, we have visited Meeru in 2007 and had a lovely time but found Handhufushi a lot quieter as people are writing negative comments unfortunately there have been cancellations as a result of this, we loved this place and can%26#39;t wait to go back, we have holidayed in many other countries and always stay 4/5 star so we are very fussy, we are aware that you cannot please all of the people all the time and it is personal opinion but I cannot find fault with this place, we are taking our 3 children this time too as only one came last year and we know that they will love this place too.

Whatever you decide to do or wherever you take your holiday we hope you have a lovely time.

Hi Natalie,me and my wife are going in august for two weeks,to many good posts from people on this site so we are really looking forward to it,people have said try and ask for rooms in the 200%26#39;s ?,do we do that from here or wait till we get there,also is it true you have to pay in one of the restaurants seeing that were on all inclusive.regards.

Hi Buryblue,

As far as i%26#39;m aware the al a carte restuarant has been closed due to low occupancy, we received a letter from our travel agent First Choice about 4 weeks ago offering us to cancel due to the beach etc still not completed but we have already been and are more than happy to return, we are hoping to be back in the area of room 101 as thats the beach villa we had last year it is on the lagoon side which is beautiful, we made good friends with another couple who had an ocean view villa and loved it there also, you can e-mail the island direct about 4-2 weeks before you go and put in a room request, but it may not be honoured.
