Maldives Resort Location

Hi,

We%26#39;re looking for a resort that has half board or is all inclusive. Besides wanting a location that has good snorkeling and has diving, we%26#39;re also looking for a place that offers some other water sports- such as kayaking or sailing or anything else. We love to just sit on a beach and do absoutley nothing but we also like to mix it up with water activites... any recommendations for a location?

Also we%26#39;re contemplating to either go to the Maldives or the Seyechelles... currently lean towards the Maldives...

Any thoughts are welcome.

Maldives Resort Location

I was considering the seychelles before choosing the maldives but chose maldives for two reasons. Maldives has always been my dream destination AND Seychelles was by far more expensive.

Depends what budget you have as to what resort you choose. I have chosen Sun Island as there is plenty to do there as well as being able to laze around. Am looking forward to the spa too.

You may want to check out Baros and maybe Conrad if you have a little more money.

Maldives Resort Location

there are a lot of resorts that offer good snorkeling different watersports as well as diving .

which to pick depends mostly on your budget and if you would prefer a large busy resort or a small romantic one .

i would not recommend sun island , which is a great island for active people but a bit poor on the snorkeling options , imho - compared to so many islands that are completely surrounded by a housereef for snorkeling and diving just at your feet, rather than depending on boat trips .

depending on budget , i would look at kandoludu , angaga , thudufushi, mirihi , eriyadu , athuruga , coco palm, W retreat, Maayafushi, vilamendhoo.

We%26#39;re looking for a reasonable price location. Not luxury or super expensive. More towards bugdet but willing to pay for nice accomodates.

I%26#39;ll take a look at the places suggested, thanks!
