hi all ,we are off to vilamendhoo on sunday for a fortnight, my mobile is all set to call home [got a quote from vodaphone ￡1 69p per minute ouch] can anyone tell me what i have to dial my area code is 01243.

no wise cracks about not ringing as it will be our 1st hol without our boys, thanks in advance , chris

+44 or 0044 then miss off the first 0 of the area code.

We were real saddos on hols and took hubbies tiny laptop.

In fact it was a gem as an occasional evening we after being well fed and watered fell asleep watching a movie (took us 4 days to watch the james Bond film)

We Skyped home for 1p a minute, calling both families to wish them merry xmas and downloaded photos of us drinking cocktails on the beach on christmas day and sent them as e-cards to all our mates to really p**s them off.

Might save you a few bob, just a thought
