I have been reading reviews about possible charges for surfing here. We are looking @ booking via a travel agent(first choice) for our honeymoon. Will there be hidden fee%26#39;s for surfing on the island?? Any info would be much appriciated. Heading over Aug %26#39;09.

I believe the surfing side is franchised out, so yes there may very well be extra charges, however, i am not one hundred percent certain so i would sugest you e mail the island and ask the relevent questions direct

There are fees for surfing and as said it is franchised, the numbers are also limited (not big numbers) and it has nothing to do with the resort, there are also charges for the boats which are extra again above the passes you have to get.

I am travelling with First Choice who have informed me that surf passes are no longer available unless you have booked your holiday through Atoll Travel.
