Where to stay in the Maldives?

Hi my name is Kerrie my husband and i would like to go back to the maldives but not sure where to stay, we were lucky enough to stay at the Four Seasons Kuda Heura 2 years ago we loved the four seasons but would like to go some where different where ever we go the surf board is always with us so that is important surfing, also being pampered ,powder white sand bit disapointing with the sand at four seasons lots of coral and rough sand, luxury accomindation, lots of resturant options, people to talk to if you want, beautiful spa treatments, Will look forward to hearing any recomendationsbye for now Kerrie

If surfing is important to you then the Maldives is not for you as the Maldives is not a surfing Country. Having said that Dhonveli is the only place for surfing but is no where near the standard of Kuda Hura.

i second what was already said .. dhonveli is the only island remotely resembling surfing conditions .. but you have to be careful who you book with because not all tour operators have access to the surfing.

this is a faily basic island with pretty much no luxury and a is hugely different from the four seasons ...but the only possibility for surfing.

The best resort in the Maldives for surfing is Dhonveli, it has staged world championship events in the past and has access to over 10 reef breaks close by, including its house reef break %26#39;pasta point%26#39;

You cannot book surfing with the resort it has to be done with another company as they only allow 25 surfers on the reef at any one time.
