Just booked Hudhuranfushi!!

We%26#39;ve just booked Hudhuranfushi for a fortnight in September. This is my first trip to the Maldives (and I%26#39;m SO excited!!) though OH has been before (went to Meeru) I%26#39;ve spent about a fortnight reading what seems like thousands of reviews in order to decide where we%26#39;re going and Hudhuranfushi seems to tick all the boxes.

Just a couple of questions to those that have been;

I%26#39;d like to request rooms, which are the best to go for? I%26#39;ve seen some are semi-detached so would obviously like to request a detached if possible.

What%26#39;s the gym like? My body obsessed OH couldn%26#39;t bare the thought of 2 wks without working out so this was on the top of our priority list!

the rooms around yhe 200%26#39;s are the best and are all detached, can%26#39;t say much about the gym it looked ok but that;s the last thing on my mind when i%26#39;m on holiday.

Hi,i have just booked the hudhuranfushi for two weeks august /sept,i had originally booked the olhuveli half board but looking at what it would have cost extra once there i thought value for money going to all inclusive hudhuranfushi was the better option.We are there till the 11th sept so will probably see you there.,

Yeah i seen the last two reviews and find the last one more worrying than the %26#39; jenny %26#39; one, as her positives far outweigh the negatives.

I think alot of this will be down to expectations, im not expecting the rooms to be brand new but do expect them to be clean.

On a positive note a work colleague of mine returns from hudhuranfushi today so will ask him for details and will update you tomorrow.

Im 95% certain this island will be fantastic if you look at other islands they all get bad reviews once in a while. and i think people are more happier sharing bad news than good news.

Just my opinion though.

Cheers freedie, will appreciate any feedback, as I say We%26#39;ve been to maldives 4 times B4, but not to this island, so I sort of now what to expect, I know the rooms won%26#39;t be the Hilton but like you say I%26#39;d like the matresess to be clean. I expect there to be a few chips of paint missing and the odd scuff so lets see.............or you will 1st anyway lol,
