South Male to Rangali by boat?

I am staying at the Conrad on Rangali and was wondering if there is a cheaper option of getting there besides the $US395 rtn seaplane fare?

Seriously, the island is about 100km from Male and there are no ferries or any public transportation. The only other option would be to rent a boat but that would be way more expensive than the seaplane.

kanthony is of course completely right .. i am sure that for a price , the conrad would be willing to fetch you by yacht .. but the only way you%26#39;ll get there more cheaply would be if you set sail on an air mattress .

having to suppress a smile when a conrad guest is looking for ways to save a buck :)

If i were you i would just pay the price as the flight to Rangali is spectacular and not worth missing.
