Hi one of the reasons that I have chosen Maldives and Reethi, in particular is the privacy and the idea of walking around the beach where its quite empty.
With Reethi, is this the case? I am going in August which to be fair could be fairly popular, but I dont want it to be overcroweded and with kids running about etc.
Can anyone who has been there put my mind to ease please?

No, it is not crowded. Been twice at peak season with is Dec-mar and never seen many people except at dinner and in the bar afterwards.
August may have more children with it being school holidays, but as it is also the rainy season, that usually deters some people.

I really hope there are no Kids! The idea of Maldives is for couples to get away from it all. Whether its Honeymoon, Anniversary or just a romantic Holiday.
Kids and the Maldives are a very immotive subject on this forum.
First time we went there were only a couple but the second time it was still the Easter holidays and there were quite a few more, although they tended to stay by the pool and we never use it.
