one more baggage question

Chris,

You collect your baggage from the international flight and go through customs, once in the open you will be guided to the seplane check- in a matter of minutes and only a few metres away. They weigh your bags and tag and away they go, you are then transported to the seaplane terminal by mini bus , all of 7 minutes.

one more baggage question

brilliant thanks rumpole

i have another baggage question we will travel with Qatar Airways chaging flight in Doha, there do we have to collect our cases or not?

Cant say for sure --but normal procedure if traveling on the same airline is that baggage goes straight through to destination, so a change in Doha should not be a problem unless changing airline.

Hi Chris

Your luggage on Qatar would normally be checked through to Male. So when you arrive in Doha you are simply in transit and merely have to wait for your onward flight to be called.

Hi

When you get to Doha it is usually straight though and if you have a quick turn around (30min)do not worry as there will be someone calling out for you.

One thing to remember is to have your transparent bag with your liquids ready and don%26#39;t buy anything duty free in liquid form ie sun lotion above 100ml in the uk as may get confiscated in Doha.

Hi La Viagg...,

You will not have to collect your bags, if your connecting flight is a short wait 30mins to 1.5hrs then your bags will be checked in at the origin airport on a %26#39;fast track - priority%26#39; label.

If you only have 30mins-1hr between connecting flights - once you clear customs, check which gate your connecting flight goes from (as they do not always call your flight) and make your way to the boarding gate, forget duty free - you wont have time.

You can also check the gate number of your connecting flight using the %26#39;inflight entertainment system%26#39; on the plane.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Emu

Many thanks for your info, in fact I had concerns for my return flight we had only 30 min. between both flights.
