island recommendation for a birthday Jan 2010

Hi All,

Am wanting to book up a weeks holiday to the Maldives for a special 40th birthday in January 2010 and would be grateful for any suitable recommendations.

Have been to Paradise, Sun, Angaga, Biyadhoo and am going to Fihalhohi in 4 weeks time.

Ideally I would like an island that is a little bit extra special but still natural, preferably no shoes, good snorkelling, small-medium, and within a budget of up to 1.5K each. Would also like either HB, FB or AI.

Does anyone have any suggestions of a suitable island to save me a bit of research and which company/website is best to book that particular holiday with?

YAWN! - Reethi Beach with Hayes and Jarvis or Kuoni? (or did someone say Marks Travels was good value?)

It%26#39;s natural, special, no shoes, good snorkelling, small and I think within budget if you are lucky?? But you have a lot of experience in the Maldives by the looks of it, so maybe I shouldn%26#39;t be answering this question as I am only a ';one trick pony';

yes I am aware of Reethi but have read about the prices going up considerably for next year so was hoping for a couple more suitable options. Thank you anyway
