Hi Haggis,
It is cheaper to upgrade in resort--the only problem being AVAILABILITY and if there is only 2 this will be a problem.

Yes there are only two.
I seem to recall it costing about 500 US$ for the room. I will see if I have the papers at home to double check for you.
I%26#39;m not sure if you%26#39;ll be able to book it in advance with an agent if you only want to stay there for one night - I expect you may need to do it in the island.
As rumps has said, it will depend on availability too. If you%26#39;re staying for 2 weeks it shouldn%26#39;t be a problem (just ask as soon as you get there) - you may just have to settle for it being on a different night rather than your last.
We%26#39;ve just come back from there on Tuesday. They do a night in the sunset lagoon villa for $495 + 10% service charge for the room. I think it is from about 6.30 in the evening to after breakfast in the morning. (champagne breakfast in the villa). You can have dinner on the deck if you want as well.
I%26#39;d try to book it in advance, but as previously stated, it might not be possible for just the one night.
Alternatively, there is an overnight on a desert island. We went there for bbq on the beach, but didn%26#39;t stay the night. If you stay, they take you by boat at 6pm, you have a bbq, then they leave you around 9pm on your own for the night. The hut looks fantastic. They bring you breakfast in the morning and take you back at 9am. cost $400 per couple + 10% service charge. Possibly better value if you%26#39;re on a budget, as this includes a bbq.
It%26#39;s a fantastic place, we can%26#39;t wait to go back.
Hope this helps
Hi,
We went to Coco Palm for our honeymoon last November and we decided to book a night in the Sunset Lagoon villa. It did cost $495 + 10% service charge and included a champagne breakfast. I booked the date that we wanted in advance via reservations@cococollection.mv.com. However, when we arrived they had booked both villas for guests who were staying for a week so we couldn%26#39;t have the villa on the date that we wanted. Having said that they offered us another date which was fine.
We were given access to the villa by 10am and had to vacate by noon the following day. It was a great experience for a special occasion and the guest book in the villa is full of wonderful comments.
What I would say as regards booking this for your last night, you may end up selling yourselves short dependent upon the time that your flight leaves Male. You aren%26#39;t advised of the time of the seaplane departure until the day beforehand and it may be early!
Have a fantastic time, we certainly did!
