Has anyone visited in April and can give me a rough idea of weather? I know its all year round lovely climate however wondering if it gets cooler in the evenings at certain times of the year?
Many thanks,

April weather - Reethi BeachHopefully good...because that%26#39;s when we are there!!
Went late March last year and the weather was perfect, although early to mid-march they had rain each day. Things have changed with the traditional seasons over recent years. It will be hot come rain or shine!
Ogh yes,
forgot to say , regardless of the rain the temp is fairly constant in the Maldives
Hi Widget
Temperature is fairly constant all year round. Around 32-33C during the day, falling to 26-27C at night. Definitely won%26#39;t need a cardy or a pully!!

Many thanks everyone. A relief to know I will be met with warm weather. Being british I don%26#39;t care if there%26#39;s rain, at least it will be warm. Very excited about my visit to Reethi, everyone seems to love the island. It sounds perfect.

I was there end March to 10 April last year and it was wall to wall sunshine. There was one shower as we got off the seaplane in Male coming home!! In fact last year they had more rain at Reethi in February than they did in March or April according to the staff.
Have a fantastic time and review when you get back.

went last year in april/May for 3 weeks weather was mixed, but no violent storms, we had to swim in pool some days due to the weather. Worst time for weather when we have been was October then we had some cracking storms really would not like to be in a water bungalow when one of those strikes.
Hi Softail - thanks for the post. I am not too worried about the weather, knowing that we will get lovely warm weather; just was concerned that it might be windy in the evening. I went to the Maldives years ago and in November and we were hit by terrific storms, some really quite amazing and yet it was gorgeously warm.

Oh with regard to evenings when we were there it was never cool as in requiring a cardi, just the opposite the humidity was really really high some evenings. Don%26#39;t know if this was typical for April if rumps or emu read this thread they will be able to give more info.
Thanks Willowbath,
It is typical for April but any time of the year the day temp being fairly constant, the diff being as you state Humidity, the temp of an evening only drops by a couple of degrees, so no need for a cardie.
