As you know after one trip to Reethi I am a Maldives addict. As such I have decided to remortgage the house/sell the children or anything else to go back and am using the excuse of OH 50th in December!Wondering whether to do Dec or Jan but tending to go for Dec as it is the actual birthday and quotes so far a quite a bit cheaper for those that have the jan prices.Think I have narrowed it down to the following islands - really looking for reethi atmosphere elsewhere as convinced myself must see something else! Have absorbed the forum and read lots of reviews but would appreciate comments/advice comparisons. Want brill snorkelling, great beach, great food and pace and quiet!(Decent AI added advantage)Islands are

thulhagiri

vilamendhoo

makanudu

vilu reef

Angaga sounds great but is 1K more than thulhagiri so wondering is it worth the extra? Advice/comments will really help me decide.

haven%26#39;t been on thulagiri but angaga is a gem and a half. its also located in the south ari atoll .. with snorkeling being important , i would opt for south ari over the busier north male atoll .

Vilamendhoo %26amp; Angaga will have the best reefs.

Makunudu is the most rustic.

thanks for quick responses - may take the plunge and get it booked as availablity is low.Does anyone else offer it apart from thomsons as would have preferred to fly sri lankan?
