Irufushi or Meeru

Both do All Inclusive and Both do Water Villas.

Which would you choose for your honeymoon ? Irufushi or Meeru ?

Meeru is a nice island although it does get overbooked, and IMO the Water Bs are not in a good position and the snorkeling is very poor --so i would go with Irufushi.

Unless anyone can name a better All inclusive island with a water villa ? I noticed Lilly Beach, but the price seems a lot higher than Irufushi ?

Irufushi is poor for snorkeling, Meeru is ok for snorkeling, both islands take you out on snorkeling trips but Meeri is much cheaper. I have been to both islands and although both are good my personal favourite by far is Meeru, I have visited Meeru 3 times and will go back, I have been to Irufushi once, came home last week, and although I enjoyed it will probably not go back.

There are many islands in the Maldives which offer AI and water villas. Meeru seems quite unpopular on this forum and Irufushi is quite new. I think there are better choices out there.

If I were you I would start a new topic stating what you want from your honeymoon. For example, big or small island? Are you looking for activities or just total relaxation? Is diving/snorkelling important? When will you be going? Probably most important, what your budget is.

In answer to your questions, I have no preference over the size of the island, I`m not interested in activities, more the relaxation, diving/snorkelling is not important, I will be going in September, and the budget is 拢8,000 for 2 people for 2 weeks.

Have you looked at Komandoo? It%26#39;s definitely one I would consider. I%26#39;ve just had a quick look and Dream maldives gave me a price of 拢5764 for a jacuzzi water villa all inclusive (random Sept departure date).

Lily Beach comes in budget 拢7630 if you go for a lagoon villa (half over the water)

Mirihi comes highly recommended but not AI unfortunately.

you didnt mention buget, thats Mega, for that cost you can do better-but if its not all about price--look at Ellaihdoo and or fiha but Fiha only does FB but you will have a lot of change to spare for your Bar bill and extras.
