hi we go on 13th march for two weeks

ideas on tips is it ok to just use sterling for tips and pay for anything else with credit card? how much to hire bikes please

does your luggage arrive on island with you ie on speed boat with you.

any trips to praise?

cardi to cover up at night or ok short or no sleeves?

any advice appeciated

Hi Mary,

The universal currency on any tourist island is the US Dollar, so get some low denomination dollars-1s-5s-10s, cards ar OK for paying at the end of the hols.

Luggage goes with you on the boat and or seaplane.

You will NOT need a cardie of an evening--the temp in the Maldives is pretty constant all year round--Hot Hot Hot.

Tips are a very personal thing, some tip at the start-halfway or the end, we tip a couple of days in-- then end first week and at the end, tips for room boy main food waiter and main bar personammount is upto you but 10-20 a go each, then the baggae boys 2 dollars a bag-- trips tip the boat not the individual 10-- then the kitchen and bar box at the end, for the backroom staff ammount upto you-- beach cleaner outside your room 10 per week, this often gets fresh flowers and or coconuts on your patio, tip anyone more who deserves more and or does more.

will get some dollars then was hoping not to but never mind

will let you know how we get on when we get back

hope we see dolphins, have read a recent review sounds like things are getting better on the island, read that boat for snorkelling goes out each am and pm but am trip is better for siting dophins so hope we are lucky enough to see them.

must start to get sorted and go and buy the sun tan creams took oyur advice looked in Boots and found their mozzie stuff with 50% deet will get everything this weekend i think. can%26#39;t be bothered to pack tho!

i got some pool shoes as adviced as beach got coral on it. thanks alot
