Got a holiday reserved with thomsons for angaga (can%26#39;t find any other agent who can get me a room there for december)but had a good quote for vilu reef which is fair bit cheaper.Loks nice although I know it ha an island very close to it.What is the snorkelling like though as that is the main reason for picking angaga together with size.

Hi Mrs Baggie .....
Vilu Reef has a designated part for snorkelling on the house reef at one end of the island, and is roped off; the current is very strong and the rope is there for you to grab should it prove too strong. They also have a lifeguard with a small boat all the time to watch and help any snorkellers should they get into difficulty. Food, bars and entertainment all good on Vilu Reef.
All depends how good a snorkeller you are .... not been to Angaga so I am unable to compare.
