Advice on Maldives

Hi

Has anyone any advice about which island is the best in Maldives?

Any hotels that are good but not too expensive or any companies aprt from First choice that people have been with too??

Advice on Maldives

Very broad question! I’d look through some brochures to get an idea of prices and what’s available then anything you fancy post back and get some more in depth advice on specific hotels/resorts. What’s good to you might be poor or excellent to other people so it’s a bit subjective as it depends what you expect from your holiday. All the major operators offer the Maldives I’d take a look at Dream Maldives.com I found them to have the best deals for my holiday this year.

agree with Benjii . there very simply is no such thing as an objective ';best'; . my dream island might very well be your total nightmare and vice versa.

narrow it down to a few islands that interest you and give us an idea of budget, traveltime and what you want from a vacation - i.e. large busy island versus small and intimate, pool or none, diving important or not , snorkeling or not, butler or not .. etc .
