best rooms on chaaya island dhonveli resort

Please can anyone advise the best locations for beach bungalows and what room numbers are not in the trees, but are on the beach front. Also are they near the bars and restaurants.

the numbers that run from about 220 up front right onto the beach and are not in the trees. They are not very close to the bar, but the staff are happy to make some very large drinks for the fridge in your room. Do not use the ones in the mini-bar, they are expensive!

Bungalows from 215 are directly on the beach, we had 215 last year, even though I have walking difficulties i found it near enough to bars, restaurant and pool.

Email the island and request if you can be put directly on the beach and NOT near the trees.

This year in Jan we had bungalow 212 which was on the beach, but back a little in the trees, and had a problem with insects.

So request 215 upwards.
