Biyadoo or Vilamendhoo, which is best?

I%26#39;m torn between these two resorts for a holiday in August 2009. Biyadoo is the cheaper choice but I%26#39;m willing to pay a little more for a better experience. They both look beautiful and have good reviews.

personally, i would go for vila because as a diver and snorkler, i always tend towards the south ari atoll for better divesites and less busy surroundings (ship and airtraffic)

I have been to both and would say that vila has the edge for me in terms of what spammie has said and is more rustic than Biyadhoo.

Biyadhoo%26#39;s biggest downfall is the accommodation, the reefs are on par but for different reasons, Vila having better coral but Biyadhoo more exciting fish life, and better value for money.

Emu, Biy has a more exciting fish life, why? what did you see more of? Jusy wondering as thinking about going.....

The reef has resident schooling barracuda,jacks %26amp; tuna in the hundreds, it makes for amazing photos if your in the right place at the right time, if your a diver then almost gauranteed to see them. Plus good for black/white tip sharks.

No boat and air traffic disruption at Biyadhoo it is 22 miles south of Male.
