I have got friends that are thinking of coming alont to maldives same time as us and they are thinking of booking economy seats first off but upgrading to premium later on nearer their holiday.

I thought premium seats tend to get booke up very quickly???

You are correct --they do get booked up, mainly because of the limited number--50 ish.

3 times I%26#39;ve upgraded was at the airport other times I%26#39;ve done it upfront. In my experience you don%26#39;t save any money upgrading %26#39;on the day%26#39; so I%26#39;d book asap to avoid dissapointment!
