Drinks at Fihalhohi

Going for 2 weeks at Easter and have read recent reports. In view of poor exchange rate, please could anyone tell me

1) do you get any drinks free...ie. tea/coffee/fruit juice with breakfast, lunch, dinner?

2) can you drink tap water if boiled, say in tea/coffee?

Also I%26#39;ve read they%26#39;ve got a jet ski, banana boat, etc now. Is this a danger to snorkellers?

If anyone has been at Easter, is it very crowded then?

Many thanks in anticipation.

1) not unless you are AI

2) I would not - just use bottled water, although in theory it is desalinated water so should be ok.

3) no danger to snorkellers as it is done in deep water away from the reef.

4) anyone%26#39;s guess - but likely to be busier due to school holidays (more kids than usual).

Hi There welcome to the forum,

You do get tea/coffee and fruit juice included with breakfast, we always use bottled water for tea/coffee but tap water no problem for cleaning teeth, i do know of someone using boiled tap water for tea/coffee and they didn%26#39;t have a problem but i would personally would only use bottled

regards susie

Hi there

Agree 2 earlier comments.

The drinks are very reasonably priced, even taking into account the poor exchange rate, so you probably wont spend as much as you think.

With regards to the jet ski, banana boat etc, we were there for a week and never saw any of the watersports centre equipment being used.

Have a great holiday

Hi

We costed drinks and we do like one, with water a couple of trips and tips at between 1.3k and 1,7 k, because of this we have moved islands and are now going Ai.

you might find this helpful - it%26#39;s the website including the link to the bar prices

Just like to thank you for the link to the bar prices, Im going next month and usually go AI, however I was a little worried at some of the comments on the prices of the drinks

Again many thanks

You *may* be worrying a little unnecessarily... compared to an AI island I found that people at Fiha in general drank way, way less and spent much less time in the bar than they would have done at an AI resort. (No doubt in part due to the cost aspect)

So unless you are a hardcore drinker you may actually find that the reality isn%26#39;t as bad as you%26#39;re anticipating. Although I wasn%26#39;t paying for my drinks on a recent 4 night stay at Fiha I found that I didn%26#39;t drink much as the people around me weren%26#39;t either. Having said that, the water and soft drink bill can mount up pretty quickly though, I have to say.

On balance, still prefer AI myself... (hic)

Well all i can say is thats not my kind of holiday--if i want a drink ill have one regardless of others and cost, thats what hols are about--Indulgance,i would hate to go and have to worry how much is this how much is that , ill have to go to bed early as i cant afford another drink and others arnt drinking so i wont / cant. If that is the way it was / is i think i would have to look for somewhere else that i could afford.

Only my opinion and outlook.
