I wouldnt bother if I were you mike - read the recent reviews mate. Seems its getting worse and worse.

I recommend saving a bit more money and going to Komandoo instead, but thats just my opinion.

I went in 2007 and best holiday ever. Going back April 09 and from the reviews a little worried. Staff were excellent but looks like new management and unfriendly staff now. Food was good before doesnt sound as good now. Costs seem high if you are on half board. Still the sea will be fantastic. Probably would have booked elsewhere if read the reviews before we booked. Hope it improves and quickly.

Hi We%26#39;ve just transferred our booking to Bandos for March/April this year. This would have been our 3rd year running, but really dont want to take the chance. Especially as they have hiked the prices so high, we seem to be getting better value for money on another island!!

We are with Thomas Cook and have asked them to look at possibilities of transferring Islands. A real shame as this was a fantastic Island. welcome any comments from recent visitors.

I have been talking to the lady who posted it and she assures me it is great............ April 09 im off there so fingers crossed all is well !!!

IMO,

MEED is a poor island, to big and money orientated, to much concrete and only 1 bar besides the main one and that closes at 6pm, the inland rooms are as said and some of the beach ones have no direct access to the water. Is the cess pool cleared just above the beach bar????? the restaurant is hot with few fans and badley laid out .

Id recomend anyone to change, but as said only my opinion.

Have to agree with Rumps - I gave my holiday 4/5 but the resort itself i would probably only give it 3/5 and this would drop to 2/5 due to the unbelievable amount it now costs.

The most recent review of Meedhupparu says it all, and while i dont like to see places fail, i am of the opinion that Meedhupparu are trying to get as much as they can out of people but providing nothing in return that you would expect. Look to book at a different resort - there are many that are better!
