Maldives Forum Addiction

I thought I%26#39;d start a topic and see just how addicted we all are on the Maldives forum, as compared to some of the other destinations, we get a fair amount of activity each day and nearly every question answered.

I%26#39;m an addict, and can%26#39;t get off the forum and hearing and learning about the Maldives every single day ... I was flooded out in the July floods of 07 so I couldn%26#39;t get my daily fix until my house finished all it%26#39;s rebuild late last year ... the withdrawal symptoms was atrocious!!

In the meantime, I changed jobs ... and my new employers blocked the site .... but I%26#39;ve got round it now but having to look at it lunch times and then I forget to eat my lunch!! lol .......

I can see OD is addicted too (morning, noon and night!); any other TA%26#39;s have the same problem? I%26#39;d be interested in how TA affects everyone%26#39;s daily lives!

Its more addictive than drugs. It should have a goverment health warning. LOL

I expect OD%26#39;s %26amp; Rumpoles fingers are down to the knuckles, Ha Ha.

I%26#39;ve got 30 days to Vabbinfaru and cannot wait so the forums give me a little fix!!! while we wait for our trip.

Great post. YES! - I admit it....I%26#39;m an addict. I just love reading the posts and trying to help where I can. It helps me look forward to our next holiday to the Maldives! I%26#39;ve retired which explains why I am able to frequent this forum as often as I do.

Mind you - if you think this forum is addictive you should try the OTC one!!

Am currently trawling through all the Reethi Beach info ready for our trip in July. There%26#39;s a heck of a lot of it!

Yep count me in. Started in 2006, can%26#39;t put the darn thing away! I remember your floods by the way.

I sometimes even have to make excuses to my hubby like %26#39;I just need to check if there is anything new that we need to know about our up and coming trip to Angaga/ Veligandu/ wherever!%26#39;

I have been to Maayaafushi (where can you book this now? It is not in the U.K. brochures) and Chaaya Lagoon.

The Maldives are paradise. I love the colours of the sea and the sky and try not to sleep much when we are there. I get up early to see the sunrise and love the sunsets. I don`t believe the nightsky and how bright the stars are.

I never want to come home and could quite easily spend the rest of my days there.

Anyway, I use a PC all day at work but I love TA during lunchbreaks.

We have been married 30 years in 2010 and we are going to go to....the Maldives. It is our pearl wedding. When we have been married 35 years it is our Coral wedding. We will be going to ...the Maldives.

I was going to say keep the Maldives to ourselves but remember the Tsanami. We were there four months after the Tsanami and everyone we met said tell everyone to come and visit. So I do!

Softail joins the gang. Even though I%26#39;m not going this year, I still love to read the posts and help where I can. this site was invaluable to me when I first went and even though I have only been to one island, I do like to help those going.

One thing I noticed about this is eventhough the same questions come up people still have the patience to answer the questions. Been on other areas where everyone jsut writes - read the tips for first timers!!!

So am I. Just popped over the Sharm forum to see whats going on there as I am off to Egypt in 4 weeks time and then back here and to my delight someone wanted the know the difference between WB and beach villa at Reethi - I COULD ANSWER. Might do a few emails and book my boss into the odd meeting so will be back later.
