Hi guys,
Was looking ont he web last night and came across Reethi Rah (wow its beautiful)...can anyone confirm if this is the same as Reethi Beach or are they two complete different islands?
I%26#39;m getting confused. Also can anyone shed a little light onto Reethi Rah? What is it like? Is it an expensive top of the range island, in between or at the lower end scale?
Hope your all well??
Best Wishes...
KP :P
Reethi?
Yes, Reethi Rah is part of the One %26amp; Only group. http://www.oneandonlyresorts.com/flash.html
Not related to Reethi Beech. Reethi Beach is a 4 ish star resort but if you read the reveiws you will find that it is much loved by those who go for its plain and simple approach.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

Reethi?
Thank you :) Thats cleared up alot of questions :)
Thanks again :)
reethi rah is on the top end of the price scale . its for the most part an artificial island .. they started with more or less a sand spit and built the island around it .. thats why it has the peculiar ';designer shape'; .
its a well planned out resort but you have pretty much no reef , due to being a man made island .
overall .. its a nice island for quiet luxury.
Yes I think its out of my price range, and like you say its too artificial. Not that I wouldn%26#39;t go given the chance, but I do want to go to an island which has a great reef, and is a true reflection of the Maldivian life.
Back to my search :P
Agree with all of the above. When i said I was originally going ot Reethi, a colleague who is so far up himself , googled Reethi and got Reethi Rah. I am afraid to say I didn%26#39;t correct him!!!! I loved my holiday and wouldn%26#39;t choose Rah over Beach.
