Scuba cylinders on planes

Can I take an empty cylinder on Emirates flights. Either in hold or hand luggage.



I will be taking my Mini B to the Maldives which has a 5 litre dumpy in so will not be able to use dive shops on island.



I know this does not sound like alot of air but if you look at www.mini-breather.com you will see why.

Emirates used to give an extra 10Kg allowance for qualified divers, which they have withdrawn. So the weight of all your kit is included in your normal luggage allowance.. %26amp; it%26#39;s around 拢26 per kilo excess baggage charges.
