please can anybody tell me are your bags searched when you get male.how do they know that you havent brought a couple of spirits with you like you do when you leave any other country.And what happens if you have bought some from the airport in the uk and then put it in hand luggage is your hand luggage searched at male

you can%26#39;t be serious ... but just in case you are .. a) you would be breaking the law and b) it will likely be confiscated and it can cause you a good deal of delay and embarrassment, if not worse.

however, to my knowledge , all the resorts sell liquor .. so its not like you have to do without .

Back to basics--ITs against there law being a Muslim country and so when in Rome--ALL and i mean ALL bags are X-rayed and its not a case of maybe taken It will be taken. OK real mistake they will delay you , but if they think you have done it delibratly , you will miss your connection / transfer to your island and YOU will have to pay the extra to get there, you will lose time in paradise and worst case you Will be arrested.they do give a recipt for genuine travellers who default and they can collect on departure, but in reality for a few drinks/ bucks---is it worth it?????????????

Actually Fiha bar prices are compared to a lot of islands in the Maldives quite reasonable prices!
