Vilamendhoo Island Resort: Any views?

Hi originally I was looking to book Reethi, but Hayes and Jarvis have decided to increase their prices by £600!

In a way it is my fault has I left it a a bit too long, but its a big jump.

I am now looking at Vilamendhoo which suits my budget, it seems quite a quiet Island and the rooms are pretty good.

Anyone who has any views or have been there, will appreciate comments.

depends on what you are looking for .. Vilamendhoo is a wonderful casual island with great divesites around it .

Bascially looking for a chilled honeymoon, something that is quite private and secluded.

Go to Vla without a second thought and ask for room 32 or 31. Best on the island. We had 33 which was almost as good. lovely and secluded.

We loved Vila too (stayed there last month). Email ahead and ask for a detached bungalow on the south beach - we had number 27 and it was perfect for us. Quiet, and set back a little with a beautiful beach 20 paces from our terrace. Rooms are basic but spacious, clean and all you need. Fab snorkelling and food too.

Do you have to share a table in the restaurant at Vilmendhoo?

We didn%26#39;t, but again I did email in advance to request our own table. There are quite a few 2s but mostly 4s - also depends how busy the island is I guess. I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;ll get your own table if that%26#39;s what you wanted. Cejay
