The island that features on the lists of most tour operators is, at a guess, Meeru. However, this isn%26#39;t necessarily the same as most popular.

Sun Island? It is the biggest! So makes sense it is the most popular!!??

fudge .. you will have to narrow that down a bit .. the large resorts , like sun island , kuredu, meeru , rangali , etc have more visitors due to having more rooms to put people in.

the small exclusive resorts stay permanently fully booked but they fit A LOT fewer people .

if you define ';popular'; as ';most visited'; then pick any of the big places .. if you define it as ';most liked'; then it gets even more chaotic because everyone of us is in a bizarre love affair with the one or other island . we all play favorites :)
