Advice for first timers to the Maldives

Hi we are a young couple who are looking to go to the Maldives for 2 weeks later in the year. Can anyone suggest a place for us to go? Considering we will be on a budget of approx 拢3000 for both of us. We will get a decent resort for this kind of money? Is it better to go all inclusive or room only? I have recently stopped drinking alcohol so drink isn%26#39;t a problem to me but how expensive would the food be? Apologies if these questions have been already answered before.

Hi yeah in the past few years i have been to a lot of places business and pleasure, i%26#39;m 23 and Maldives is one place me and my girlfriend would love to go. I can%26#39;t keep off the florida forum to be honest, best holiday i%26#39;ve done.

My girlfriend does drink alcohol although she isn%26#39;t a big drinker. How much could i expect to pay for a beer in the maldives(the odd one is ok!).

I know it would depend what island you are on but is there much difference between a beach villa compared to a garden villa? We want to go but i wouldn%26#39;t want to take her to anywhere that is just ok as accomodation.

a beer is going to cost you about $5 but its not a pint its for 330ml dont know what that is in old money / english, soft drinks about 3.5 dollars fresg fruit drinks and coffees 5-6 dollars, spirits abot$5 dollars then the mixer cost on top, branded spirits will be more, and then on top is a 10% service/ tax.

all accomodation in the Maldives is good, as it says a Garden villa has a view of the vegitaion and may be set back in the trees--good for shade, a beach one is on or has views of the beach
