Hi
I have been looking on this site and dozens of hotel websites for a Maldivian holiday at the end of April with our 18month old son. We want somewhere at the higher end of the market but where we won%26#39;t feel like we need to hide because of our toddler son? Does anyone have experience of going with young children, the Sheraton Full Moon looks good as does Velessaru but I have no idea as to how welcoming they might be with my son in tow!
Basically, we want a beachfront type villa so that we can step out onto the verandah and he can play on the sand.
Kuruma and Bandos are clearly child friendly but I am put off by the postings and the fact that they seem 3ish star. Can anyone help!?
Thanks
Top class yet child friendly resorts?
Four Seasons!!! The chain has to Maldives resorts and several resorts in other parts of the world. Complimentary kids club, good and low-priced food for the children, children are treated like VIPs, children size bathrobes and complimentary kids toiletries, child proofing of rooms if necessary etc. etc. etc. Have a look at their web-site. We have visited the Four Seasons at Ko Samui and Langkawi with our son and are soon going to the two Maldives resorts. I will post reviews.

Web site is: www.fourseasons.com
Lots of reviews here at Trip Advisor also.
thanks Musken, much appreciated, I looked at their website today along with One and Only Reethi Rah and think the Four Seasons tops it. Let me know how it goes with your trip. We%26#39;re going late April.
You are right that also the O%26amp;O resorts are luxurious and children friendly. We have not stayed at any of them, yet, but will certainly try in the future.
However, we chose the two Four Seasons resorts this time (one week at each, we move to get some variation in restaurants and activities since the islands are pretty small). I will definitely report back after our trip.
We are back. Both Four Seasons resorts were excellent, both for adults and kid. I have posted reviews which you can reed as soon as they are shown here. In addition; Feel free to ask any question you have!
